Overview

Blue Whale Growth Fund, an investment fund, approached us for a logo refresh to better position their brand in the competitive market. Their previous logo lacked the necessary impact to stand out, especially in investment listings where competitors were gaining more attention. The goal was to create a logo that exudes strength, stability, and sophistication, while effectively representing the fund’s growth-oriented mission.

Design approach

The new logo refines the whale tail graphic, integrating it seamlessly with an arched wave. The design emphasises growth, movement, and the notion of a thriving investment.

We also bespoke the font to ensure it was unique to Blue Whale Growth Fund. A subtle but impactful flair was introduced in the letter “A,” inspired by the whale tail itself, creating a harmonious connection between the typography and the graphic.

Alongside the logo, a new colour scheme was introduced, enhancing the brand’s visual appeal with a fresh, modern look. The new colours complement the overall design, giving the brand the bold and refined presence it needed to stand out in the competitive investment space.
